Code and File Backups

Your website is more than its database. There is the code that makes it work, the theme that gives it its look, and every image and document that has ever been uploaded. We keep copies of all of it, away from the server the site runs on.

Why do I need this?

Files get lost in ordinary ways: a mistaken deletion, a failed update, a hosting fault, an intruder. A backup kept on the same server as the site tends to disappear along with it. Without a clean copy, putting a site back together means rebuilding it.

How does a Maverick website maintenance plan help?

Code and file backups are included in every plan. Your code is kept under version control, so every change is recorded and can be undone, and uploaded files are backed up separately. Together with database backups, that gives us everything needed to restore your site to a known good state.
