A penetration test is a deliberate, authorised attempt to break into your website. We probe it the way an attacker would, so that weaknesses are found by us and not by someone with worse intentions.

Why do I need this?

Monitoring tells you when something is being attacked. Testing tells you what would happen if the attack were any good. It turns up the faults that automated scans miss: poorly protected forms, exposed files, weak login handling and mistakes in custom code. If your site handles personal data, a test is often something customers, partners or insurers expect to see.
